Andres J. Colberg Trigo

Andres Colberg is a Member of Estrella, LLC and he received his bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Fairfield University, Fairfield, Connecticut. He later received his Juris Doctor degree from Facultad de Derecho Eugenio María de Hostos, Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, where he graduated in the first class and was a member of A.N.E.D. (Asociación Nacional de Estudiantes de Derecho). After graduation, Mr. Colberg joined the Legislation Division of the Justice Department of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, where he analyzed bills of law for the Secretary of Justice and drafted the opinions of the Secretary for the Legislature.

Mr. Colberg later joined Lespier & Muñoz Noya Law Offices as an associate, where he litigated for several years in various fields of law. Here his focus was on labor and employment law litigation and tort law. His practice in labor and employment law litigation involved both the private and public sectors, since he represented several government agencies and private corporations in diverse issues like wrongful termination claims, discrimination, sexual harassment, as well as wages and salaries suits. Since joining Estrella in 2003, Mr. Colberg has been a trial lawyer for the firm, litigating in various fields of civil law, mainly torts.  Currently, he is the Director of the Litigation Practice Group.  As such, he supervises all litigation for the firm and spearheads all trial work for the firm’s numerous clients. He has tried and prevailed in countless civil actions at the local court and appellate court level.
