2014 Summer Associates Selected

Neyla Ortiz (Associate & Program Director) has recently announced that the following students have been selected for the Firm’s 2014 Summer Associates Program:

Adriana M. Vega:  Adriana is a second year student at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law. She has a bachelor degree in Journalism from the same university. Adriana has worked as law clerk for the Department of Justice (General Tort Claims and Medical Malpractice Sub-Division) and Bufete Cancio Reichard (Civil litigation) in Aguadilla. She is currently working with the pro bono program of the UPR in the “Servicios Legales a la Comunidad Penal”. Adriana has a strong interest in litigation and torts cases, and, this summer she looks forward to gaining a better understanding of the different phases of the cases, working with our team of lawyers and paralegals.

 

Laura T. Géigel: Laura is a second year student at the George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. She has a bachelor degree in Arts, Drama and English from the University of Virginia.  As law student she has being engaged in the National Association of Woman Judges as legal intern and as legal copyright legal intern in the Public Citizen of Washington, D.C.  Laura also has worked as actress and singer in Broadway with the Actor’s Equity Member (Union). During this summer, Laura looks forward to learn about Puerto Rico’s law system and bring her experience as legal intern in Washington, D.C.
